Christine Shourot
Founder & CEO
Christine, Owner of Underwater Adventures, is one of the first female pioneers in the diving industry, having influenced both the recreational and commercial diving fields. Her dedication and reliability have enabled the dive companies that she managed to progress and flourish. Her patience and persistence and drive have supported Bob Shourot in his many diving firsts since
the early 70's,.
Chris continues to support the growth and popularity of both the recreational and commercial diver training programs.
Joselito Roldan
Vice President & Lead Instructor & Tech Lead
Joselito is a dedicated NAUI Instructor and retired U.S. Army First Sergeant with 25+ years of service, who brings exceptional leadership, discipline, and technical expertise to everything he does.
As a proud member of the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), Joselito upholds the highest standards in diver education, emphasizing safety, precision, and strong foundational skills. He teaches divers at all levels with a calm, methodical approach that builds confidence and competence in the water.
During his distinguished military career, Joselito oversaw the complex logistical and technical requirements of helicopter maintenance and flight operations. He ensured mission readiness, safety compliance, personnel training, and operational efficiency under demanding conditions. His leadership experience managing high-performance teams directly translates into his structured, safety-first scuba diving instruction style.
Joselito was a first-time certified Scuba Diver back in 1997 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and continued his scuba diving training to become a NAUI Instructor.
Combining military precision with a passion for the ocean, Joselito is committed to developing skilled, responsible divers while creating safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable underwater experiences.

Lydia Roldan

Lydia Roldan is a passionate scuba diver dedicated to ocean conservation and community outreach. Through diving, she inspires others to connect with and protect the underwater world. Lydia is driven by a love for the sea and sharing meaningful dive experiences that inspire care for our oceans.
Ron Curtiss
Training Assistant & IT Support
Ron is currently working on his Divemaster certification through NAUI. He has been an integral part of Underwater Adventures since 2023, working diligently to continue his training by assisting with each and every class.
Ron's overall goal is to become a NAUI Instructor in 2026! His passion for diving is contagious ~~ make it a point to talk to him about his favorite dive sites and what inspires him to keep on learning everything he can in the dive world!
